Branches of the POH

The Global Defense Branch was the first one created by the Protectors of Humanity. It serves as the first line of defense against beasts and is made up of approximately one million personnel. The forefront of the branch is its mech division. These revolutionary mechs are powered by the morphers of our rangers, who also pilot the suits themselves. However, not every ranger focuses on mech-related combat. A great many of them serve on the ground and assist with evacuation efforts when an attack occurs. We are also made up of thousands of non-ranger units that are equipped with special technology that allows them to assist on the battlefield.
Global Defense

While we are most well known for fighting off attacks, the POH is also responsible for asking the question of why they're here and keeping them from causing other kinds of damage. That is where the investigation branch comes in. They are tasked with finding the beasts nest and dismantling the growing black market that has sprung up using beast remains for disturbing and unusual purposes. As well as leaks involving POH technology so that it does not fall into the wrong hands.
Investigations

POH's research division is responsible for the vast majority of its technological advancements. They develop our mechs, weapons for non-Ranger personnel, and help us learn more about the beasts so we can better combat them. The research branch also uses whatever it learns to help progress humanity forward. Develop cures, enhance medical technology, and all around find ways to improve life beyond the battlefield. So far, they've already eradicated various diseases, improved energy efficiency on a global scale, and greatly lessened humanity's carbon footprint.
Research

As we seek to find out where the beasts come from and why they're here, we find ourselves looking to the stars. That's where the exploration branch comes in. Due to the advancements of our research division, we've created unprecedented vessels that allow our ranger and non-ranger personnel to go further than any human has gone before. We do this in the pursuit of answering questions that humanity has asked since the dawn of time, and in hopes of answering questions that may be key to our survival.
